1. Definitions

“Company” refers to Refined Build Co. South East. “Client” refers to the person, company, or organisationinstructing works. “Works” refers to all labour, materials, services, and associated construction activities carriedout by the Company.

 

2. Quotations & Acceptance

• 2.1 All quotations are valid for 30 days from the issue date unless otherwise stated.

• 2.2 Acceptance of a quotation, estimate, or invoice constitutes acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.

• 2.3 Any additional works requested outside the agreed quotation may incur additional charges.

• 2.4 Hidden defects or unforeseen conditions may result in additional costs.

 

3. Deposits & Payments

• 3.1 A deposit may be required prior to commencement of works.

• 3.2 Stage payments may apply to larger projects.

• 3.3 Final payment is due upon completion unless otherwise agreed in writing.

• 3.4 Late payments may incur statutory interest and works may be suspended for overdue accounts.

 

4. Variations & Additional Works

Any changes requested after quotation acceptance may affect costs and completion dates. Additional works willbe charged accordingly.

 

5. Programme & Delays

Estimated timescales are provided in good faith but may be affected by weather, suppliers, labour availability, orunforeseen circumstances.

 

6. Client Responsibilities

Clients must provide safe access to the property, ensure permissions are obtained where necessary, and protectvaluable items within work areas.

 

7. Materials 

Material colours, finishes, and textures may vary slightly. Equivalent alternatives may be supplied where

necessary due to supplier availability.

 

8. Waste Removal & Site Cleanliness

General construction waste generated by the Company will be removed unless otherwise stated. Hazardous materials are excluded unless specifically quoted for.

 

9. Defects & Warranty

The Company provides a 12-month workmanship guarantee excluding wear and tear, settlement movement, client-supplied materials, and third-party damage.

 

10. Insurance & Liability

The Company maintains appropriate insurance cover and liability is limited to the value of the works completed under the relevant contract.

 

11. Health & Safety

The Company operates in accordance with relevant UK Health & Safety legislation. Restricted work areas must not be entered without permission.

 

12. Cancellations

Cancellation after acceptance may result in charges for labour, materials, administration, and scheduled works already committed.

 

13. Photographs & Marketing

The Company reserves the right to photograph completed works for marketing purposes unless otherwise

requested in writing.

 

14. Disputes

Both parties agree to attempt to resolve disputes amicably before legal proceedings. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

 

15. Acceptance

By accepting a quotation, paying a deposit, or instructing Refined Build Co. South East to proceed with works, the Client confirms acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
